Advantages of the Hollow Bar Corrosion Protection System
In order to extend the service life of hollow bar, it can be dealt with corrosion protection. The corrosion protection system provides the design engineer and the owner with the possibility to easily and permanently protect tension members against corrosion. In particular, the following advantages are evident:
1. Applicable with new tension members or with tension members that are already in use
2. The hollow bar's corrosion protection system is based on the DENSO corrosion protection technology that has been successful for decades

The CONEXPO-CON/AGG exposition is the global industry gathering place. Friction anchor bolt theory and Sinorock friction bolt
Friction Bolts is a kind of anchor bolts which is specially used in strong support. It is also a kind of advanced materials in underground culvert roof and other projects support. Friction bolt has the features of simple operation and easy use. When installing in spraying anchoring support of the underground support, this kind of anchor bolt has strong anchorage force, large pulling force and big expanding force which makes the whole roof into a complete one to support the stress of the surrounding rock. Friction anchor bolt is a new kind of anchor bolt which has the whole length of anchorage and active reinforcement of the surrounding rock. Its anchor bar is a high strength tube of the vertical slit. When installing in a drilling hole with a larger diameter than that of the anchor bar, friction anchor bar will make big pressure on the wall of the drilling hole and friction preventing the surrounding rock slipping in the whole range. The pressure force, friction force and the supporting force of the anchor plate make the surrounding rock in a stressed state in three directions and achieve the support to the surrounding rock. Under the conditions of anchor bar moving because of blasting vibration, the anchoring force will be increased obviously. When the surrounding rock moves clearly, friction anchor bolt will not loss the supporting force.
Sinorock’s Friction Bolt improves rock stability and safety factors by tightening as lateral strata movement occurs. The Friction Bolt is primarily used in metalliferous mining operations, but is also well suited for rib support in coal operations. Sinorock’s Friction Bolt is available in three sizes:33mm,39mm and 47mm
Installation Procedure:
1. Drill hole at proper diameter and depth. Diameter is determined by on-site testing.
2. Insert Friction Bolt into the hole. A driving tool is fitted into the rock drill’s chuck. Place Friction Bolt and plate onto the installation tool.
3. Using percussion and thrust, fully drive the Friction Bolt into the hole until the Dome Plate is tight against the rock surface.

Friction hollow anchor bar consists of two parts, a tube and matching domed bearing plate. It is mainly used as a good ground support products in coal mines, copper mines, subways and tunnels, etc.
During the using process, immediate ground support is good for friction rock bolt. But soft rock strtas is not so suitable. so, permanent support and roof support is also not recommended.
The Drilling Hole for Friction Rock Bolt should be cleaned and examined to ensure the friction bolt will insert smoothly. Variation in hole daimeters(due to differing strentths of rock strata or excessively gragmented ground) can yield variations in anchorage capacities at various elevations.
Sinorock Friction anchor bolt completed with dome plate has very high strength split tube with welded ring, which guarantees for very good & typical Lab Pull Test.
